Our organisation has well over a decade of experience in providing care and support for people with an array of learning disabilities or mental health needs. Everyone is an individual, we believe that they should be treated with understanding and respect. Our goals are to promote individual choices, nurture hobbies and achieve aspirations. We are a family-run organisation. Our values are to uphold family values and provide clear and transparent reporting within a warm and friendly environment.

Burgh Heath Care Centre, specialises in providing personalised close care and support to adults with learning disabilities or mental health needs. This may include physical or mental disorders including Autism, Epilepsy, Parkinson’s, Schizophrenia, Personality Disorder, Bipolar, and an array of emotional or behavioural difficulties including dual diagnosis (a combined learning disability with a mental health condition). We can act as a ‘step-down’ service for individuals coming out from medium-long stay in NHS treatment units to help them gain essential life skills that will allow a smooth transition into society.

10 Years of Experience

10 years of experience in providing personalized care and support to people with learning and physical disabilities.

Individual Personalised Care

We provide our residents with a friendly, clean, homely, comfortable, and safe environment, which promotes their individuality, choices, independence, rights, and dignity.

Friendly Service

We believe that the provision of high-quality, dedicated support starts with having a well-trained and knowledgeable staff team who actively values people with such needs.

Our Services

At Burgh Heath Care Centre, we believe that all our residents should feel like it's their home, not ours. We strive to make this the basis of our commitment to their care and support, providing everyone with a warm, friendly, and safe environment where they can begin this journey.

Residents who we support, are encouraged to lead independent lives as far as possible and to fulfill their own potential. Our goals are quite simply theirs, in other words, our focus is on what they can do, rather than what they can't.

We support people who have one or more of the following needs:

Autism and Aspergers Syndrome • Physical disability • Learning disability • Challenging behavior • Mental health requirements • Self-harm • Epilepsy • Personality disorders • Complex needs

We believe that it is imperative to have a strong core staff team in place. Our dedicated support staff and therapy team liaise with local healthcare professionals to ensure that consistent and appropriate inputs are available. We also have excellent working relationships with community mental health, learning disability teams, and local GPs.

We believe you will not find a better residential service than Burgh Heath Care Centre, with such innovative and modern facilities set in the beautiful heart of Surrey. We are aiming to open more similar facilities in the near future and would recommend early bookings to avoid disappointment, as demand for places will be limited. Please do not hesitate to contact the management team for further information or to book an assessment.

“We will support individuals according to their specific needs to maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment. We will listen to people and encourage and value their contribution to the running of the scheme."

Social Activities

We also believe the words “fun” and “choice” are an important part of everyone’s life. Therefore, with our activity programs, our residents enjoy activities they want to do rather than being prescribed ones they don’t. We learn about their wishes and desires and use these as our goals to create meaningful experiences for our residents.

We have our own occupational therapists who provide extensive and appropriate support through detailed cognitive assessments individually tailored to meet the simplest of the toughest personal challenges.
